Love Is The Answer

IN a rapidly changing world and increasingly fast paced virtual society, what we need is inspiration. In my mid twenties I traveled to Europe with Sue Fisher King for work. London, Paris, Tuscany, Milan and Venice discovering linens, glass, furniture and unique artisans. I launched into a new creative space and found design inspiration around every street corner.

Traveling to Tuscany and Rome over the past month was nothing short of magical. We spent five glorious days at Casali de Bibbiano. The Italian born owner, Alberto Guadagnini also owns Teca in Newtown Square, PA and has been a leader in the restaurant industry for over 40 years.

The staff at Bibbliano kept us smiling. The evening sunset followed by dinner was the highlight of every day. Fresh seasonal local ingredients combined with their own organic garden and wine. Casali di Bibbiano operates as a full-production winery that have won numerous Wine Spectator awards. Additionally, high-quality olive oil is pressed from the olive trees growing on the country estate. Heaven under the Tuscan night sky.

Casa Di Bibbliano overlooks Massimo Ferragamo’s Tuscan paradise: Castiglion del Bosco. One of Tuscany’s most exclusive resorts consists of a winery, hotel, two restaurants and a golf course. Ferragamo’s ambition is to produce world-class Brunello. The arrival of autumn is filled with meaning in many cultures; in Italy it is associated largely with the "vendemmia" – the grape harvest. What a beautiful experience in Tuscany.

Under The Tuscan Sun

Falling in love with Italy; is a moment of realization that you can’t step back from.

The best days are sometimes the ones where you get lost in the streets looking for a coffee. The love they put into everything becomes a part of your day. All roads lead to Rome — and we can’t wait to go back. The process is the inspiration.
