JADE BUNGALOWS

Dotted throughout the Garden, five master poolside bungalows and two jungle bungalows give you a chance to step away from everyday life and retreat to your own nest overlooking the amazing pool and jungle gardens.

Accommodations are ideal for families and retreats wanting independence and flexibility and their own stylish sanctuary in a world away from here.

Master Poolside Bungalows

Meraki (m-er-ah-kh-ee) number 1

Meraki is a word that modern Greeks often used to describe doing something with soul, creativity, or love – when you put “something of yourself” into what you're doing, whatever it may be. This bungalow seeps minimalism and Bali tradition with private hardwood-floored terraces and a second shower outdoors in a walled sanctuary.

Duende (dUEN-day) number 2

Enjoy a slice of the jungle, or overlook your private terrace with a vision of the pool or dream of the Japanese cooling tub open to the sky. Duende means quality of passion and inspiration. In the folklore of Spain, Portugal or Latin America, Duende is a supernatural being or spirit resembling a pixie.

Master Poolside Bungalows

A collection of one-of-a-kind spaces that feel as discreet as a private residence, each with their own style and appeal.

Hygge (hue- guh) number 3

Hygge is a Danish word used when acknowledging a feeling or moment, whether alone or with friends, at home or out, ordinary or extraordinary as cozy, charming or special. Feel the cool concrete on your feet as you walk barefoot around. Enjoy the views from three sides or relax quietly on your private terrace. Put on a bathing suit and have a quick jump in the pool or read your favorite novel and disappear with the sounds of the garden.

Lagom (LAH-gom) number 6

A Swedish word meaning not too little, not too much, just right. It reminds us of a favorite childhood story. By definition, it’s about balance. The Swedish way of life champions the idea of only having what you need and nothing more. The Swedish believe we should all be more appreciative of what we have. Sit quietly and contemplate as you look out the wall of windows from your bed. Step outside onto your private terrace and walk slowly off the edge into the shallow pool that will lead you to the swimming pool. Enjoy the sculpture and hummingbirds as they enjoy their moment too.

Alegr’ia (ala-GREE-uh) number 7

The final master poolside bungalow is most convenient to the main gathering space. It also evokes a chameleon feel as it disappears into the jungle garden. The word means JOY. There are many translations, in many countries. Some of our favorites are happiness, cheerfulness, contentment, playfulness, liveliness and light-heartedness. The hammock sits waiting for your company – whether you choose a book or a siesta. This bungalow is hidden by the jungle. We enjoy a warm cup of tea on the terrace as we listen to the howler monkeys in the distance.

Jungle Bungalows

Two stylish living spaces with interiors that remind you ‘home’ isn’t simply a place – it’s a feeling. Each has a private terrace blending seamlessly with the indoors and jungle gardens surrounding them. These bunglows can be set up as two twin beds or a king size bed. The shower has a skylight that brings warm light into the bathroom. These two bungalows live side by side in a duplex hidden behind a wall from the yoga pavilion. They are identical – just flipped around with the bedrooms on the exteriors of the building.

Kalpa (KAL-pa) number 4

A Kalpa is a long period of time in Hindu and Buddhist cosmology, generally between the creation and recreation of a world or universe. When we lay in this suite and think about how we reset each time we visit this property, we wonder what our roles are in the bigger picture. What feels different today?

Boketto (bok-etto) number 5

Boketto is a Japanese word for the act of gazing vacantly into the distance without a thought. Listen to the music of the jungle. It's sometimes hard to have no thought - so I allow my mind to have a creative break & imagine the hard work of the ecosystem that is happening right in front of my eyes.

Enjoy the Magical Garden. Relax and retreat to your own nest overlooking the amazing pool and jungle gardens.
