A Year Rooted in Love, Creativity, and Community

As the year comes to a close, we pause—not to rush forward, but to reflect.

This past year at Jade Nosara has been one of deepening roots: into the land, into community, into creativity, and into the simple rhythms that make life here so meaningful. Nosara has a way of slowing time just enough to remind us what matters.

Tennis as a Gathering Point

At Jade Nosara Tennis, the red clay courts became more than a place to play—they became a place to connect. Mornings filled with rallies, laughter, and shared effort reminded us that movement is medicine, and that tennis—like life—is best experienced together.

This year we welcomed locals, visitors, beginners, and seasoned players alike. Clinics, casual matches, and spontaneous conversations between points created a growing tennis community rooted in joy, longevity, and inclusion. The courts continue to be a space where wellness meets friendship.

Art in the Garden

Creativity flourished in new ways with the arrival of Angel Lara, our artist in residence. Angel’s work brought a powerful new dimension to Jade—where art lives not among the trees, paths, and open sky. We started the year out in January 2025 with a garden art party celebrating creativity featuring Angel Lara and Max Viellard.

Angels sculptures invite reflection, curiosity, and conversation, reminding us that art, like nature, is meant to be experienced in real time. We are especially excited to share that Angel and Max will be exhibiting together at GONA on February 15th—a show not to be missed by the Nosara creative community.

Planting the Future: Finca Jade

This year also marked the quiet but powerful beginnings of Finca Jade. Still in its early chapters, Finca Jade represents our long-term vision: regenerative land stewardship, food forests, art, and sport woven together in harmony with nature.

What started as a dream is now taking shape—through soil preparation, water planning, tree planting, and thoughtful design. Finca Jade is about patience and possibility, about building something that will grow and give back for generations.

Incredible to be a part of CostasVerdes 100,000 tree planting initiative today — a powerful reforestation effort uniting communities to restore biodiversity, combat climate change, and honor the country’s natural heritage.
